Hello Folks,
North London rotate to Walkers
Sunday 24th March was at last forecast properly dry and though it was not warm a team of eight met up for a trip to the very popular Walkers outdoor cafe at Barton Mills.
Our grand route took us through Takeley, Thaxted, Saffon Walnut and Newmarket.
At Walkers it was very busy with motorcyclists with a grand show of bikes to look at.
One of them was a strange but smart looking blue Honda 350 ADV recently purchased by Stuart who met us at Walkers as did Graham and Mick ‘O! So eleven of us had a pleasant lunch together before the original eight bound homeward on the great riding route that was Tuddenham, Barrow, Clare and on to Finchingfield.
Here we had afternoon tea and more conversation before heading home.
A very pleasant day indeed.. Also we met our friends in the Essex branch who were about to leave Finchy when we arrived!
Regards
Steve
