North London Dozen visit Oxfordshire
October 8th was a fine day and twelve of us met at Tescos Hatfield for a ride into Oxfordshire, led by Dave T. A nice route took us through Hemel Hempstead, Bovingdon, Chesham, Gt Missenden, Bendover, Chinoor and Benson before we arrived for lunch at the Railway Inn at Culham.
It was nice to meet Dave’s daughter here.
We had some nice food there, generally a roast before resuming our journey.
The roads had been a bit slow up to this point but they improved as we took a faster windy route back towards the Magic Roundabout at Hemel Hempstead via a tea stop at a garden centre.
Thank you Richard for treating us! From there we split off for home, some of us using the A414 through Hertford. A very nice day.
