North London have a Day’s Ride…..
Oh yes we did! On Wednesday 17th July we did a midweek ride! Having paid attention to some of the Management meeting I realised we could be more accommodating to those in our branch who can’t make a Sunday.
John Cachia led some beautiful riding that took us to a new café, for most of us, that was called Days Bakery and was in Newton just north of the A505.
A lovely place. Just don’t sit under any fruit trees.
I turned up to meet John thinking it might just be the two of us but there were six of us on the ride. Not only that but one of our members who we don’t see much, Phil, was able to make it on a very nice Goldwing.
I won’t go into route details, for a change, but the roads and weather were lovely. We finished at Finchingfield where Adrian treated us to tea and cake.
