27th May As an alternative to the Welsh weekend, the plan was to have a run to the ACE Café 'Margate Meltdown' and five members on four bikes set off from Brentwood for the coast via the A2/M2. Upon arrival at Margate, it was so crowded it was impossible to find space to park 4 bikes together, so instead of spending time there, went direct to our intended lunch stop in Deal. Paul who led the run took us to his favourite fish & chip restaurant for an excellent lunch followed by a walk on the pier and an ice cream.
