Ride out / Posh Pigs to Lowestoft (Kensington Gardens)
05.05.2025 (One fine Sunday)
Three riders, Mike O’Sullivan, Paul Unwin and David
Robertson headed from Posh Pigs on Ellough Industrial
Estate to Lowestoft to visit Kensington Gardens.
The ride was uneventful. Several birds crossed the road
flying and the traffic was light.
We drove on the A146 mostly and through Carlton
Colville when we got to Lowestoft, on the bypass. We
went through to Pakefield and down a part of the high
street.
We came back on ourselves to drive along the
seafront in the sunshine to Claremont pier where we
parked our bikes and walked to Kensington Gardens a
famous Lowestoft café.
Note to others Mike likes to park closer to any café to
avoid walking. I enjoy some walking. Paul did not really
comment, assuming he was ok with some walking.

I enjoyed the ride and felt great after an interesting
chat at the café. I owe Mike a tea and some cake. Paul
was very well behaved, and I think we left the café
with good feelings.
I went a different way home to the other two and Paul
and Mike had a nice drive home via Somerleyton.
A resounding cheer was heard as we each got home
safely.
