Today’s ride, Sunday 8th Jan, was being lead by Bronwen.
Today Phil Wasmuth, Tim Barnard, Mick Wilson, Cliff Edwards, Johnny Theron and Jon Gould and I met up at Rose Café in Chelmsford for breakfast. Tim and Mick were not able to join the ride and left us to it after breakfast.
The plan was for us to ride to the Ambience Café in St Neots but as the weather was not looking good for the afternoon, we decided to keep the Ambience Cafe on hold till warmer weather returns, and to stay a little more local.
So we rode via Braintree and Halstead to TTT Motorcycle Village in Sudbury.
We headed inside for a well-earned hot drink and had a wander around the shop to look at all the lovely bikes they have on show.
We then got back on the bikes and rode via Earls Colne, Coggeshall and Tiptree to the Osea View Café at the Osea Leisure Park where we had lunch.
Johnny couldn’t stay for lunch and he headed for home. It had just started to rain when we arrived, so we timed it just right.
We knew the worst of the rain was still to come so we all headed for home after lunch.
I really appreciate all those who came out today to spend a little time together. I had a wonderful day.
Till next time, ride safe.
