Shows – A quick recap of the recent shows at Comber and Mullavilly – both shows went well with plenty of interest in the Honda cb500X on display due to the 170000.00 miles.
Next show is Ballymoney on 27th and 28th February. Some discussion about bikes for display with Gerry agreeing to loan his Honda CB1300. Antony to collect and transport to show.
Rideouts – change of date from second Sunday in month. Brian agreed to publish a poll to gauge members interest for dates 15th or 29th March.
Rideout for April will be Newcastle – Carlingford – Antony to plan.
Monthly meetings – Tim Hortons at Junction One was the new venue but members agreed it was unsuitable with background music making it difficult for members to hear conversation. The possibility of holding future meetings at Brap Moto just off Moira roundabout was discussed and agreed – thanks to Davy Chambers for offering use of his premises to HOCNI.
Flags – some members had asked about possibility of HOCNI flags for mancaves, garages etc. Antony had several made up, priced at £12.50 and quite a few were purchased by those present.
Storming the Castle – discussion about promoting HOCNI at Carrickfergus Storming the Castle – Bill agreed to look into this.
Scrutineers & Marshalling Courses – Davy P introduced himself and gave members information about both courses.
Scrutineers – to be held at the Ballymac on 1st March at 9am – a full day course – contact Mark Sanlon
Marshalling – an outdoor course to be held at Bishopscourt at 10am on 1st March – contact Ian McClelland.
