Despite the weather being dull and occasionally drizzly, the HOC Team put on an excellent display for the Brackley Bike Day and provided those who visited with tea, coffee, cake and even bacon butties at lunchtime!
A convoy of Honda bikes arrived at the Brackley stand site by 8.20am and started to erect the three gazebos which had been safely delivered, along with all the other items, in ex Pat (an ex Post Van). Ruth and the team soon had everything assembled and in place and awaited the punters who were slower to arrive due to the slightly damp weather conditions.
All the activities and events took place in the High Street and Arena and the music played throughout the day. New bikes were there to view and the wall of death was much enjoyed.
Whilst all this was taking part around the stand, conversations transpired and the day soon passed before a mid afternoon ice cream (well it was summer) and everything was dismantled and packed away for another day. Despite the lower number of attendees, a good time was had by all!
