Sunday 17th May and Gloucester HOC met for breakfast but no rideout due to inclement weather. 12 members enjoyed Friar Tucks impressive breakfasts. Despite the weather the atmosphere was full of lively and humorous stories. A couple of examples: Mel was embarrassed to tell how she cut out the understair cupboard, only to saw through the supporting posts!! Graham arrived in the nick of time, and being an engineer, designed and build a 42 point anchor bracket, for 3 times the price he could have bought one for, but thankfully, saving the stairs from complete collapse. Graham went to “help” plumb in the portaloo’s at his daughter’s wedding, only to flood the entire venue by opening the wrong valves! Proving that we might not have the most intelligent people in our branch but they do give us a laugh!! See you soon everyone. Keith
