Essex Branch go Krazy

Sunday 1st March 2020.

There was only Jeff and myself on the ride today. We meet up at McDonalds, Boreham just off the A12, at 9:30am for a 10am departure.Whilst waiting in the car park we spoke with the Chelmsford IAM bunch, who were waiting for more of their members to turn up for their casual ride out today. It turns out there were 25of them that set off today. The weather today was clear blue skies with a light wind.We set off up the A12 to Witham and then followed country A roads up through Braintree, Halsted, through Sudbury to Acton where we had coffee in Wally’s Shed. Good staff here and great food.We the continued up to Bury St Edmunds and the Krazy Horse. Here we had a look around and lunch.Always nice to stop here even just for a drink. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is great as well. After lunch we set off for home. We decided to do this part of the trip non stop and went our separate ways on the A12 by Chelmsford.Another great day out riding in great weather. Not bad for this time of year. Great company as well.

Until the next time, ride safe.

Cheers.Roland, Essex Branch Secretary.
