Today we meet up at Thurrock Services for a 10am departure to the Route 1066 Cafe for lunch. It was a bright sunny day today, which always makes the ride much betterThere were 5 of us on the ride today, Jon, Phil, Jeff, Mike B and myself. We set off over the Dartford Crossing and made our way across country to Yalding where we had our morning coffee stop at the Teapot Island Cafe. They serve Bread and Butter pudding here, it would be rude not too. Lol. We set off again across country to the Route 1066 cafe on the A21 near to Battle. It wasn’t busy here today, probably due to being a week day. We had a nice lunch in the garden with the sun beaming down on us. Time came to head off for home, all good things come to an end. Yet another good day’s riding with great company on good roads. Today I completed 130.5 Miles door to door. Until the next ride, stay safe.
