It was an early start as we set off for the ride to Meole Brace, Shropshire for Bike4Life, although threatening the weather was actually not too bad (a bit cold at times).
The route took us across Blythfield Reservoir and through a part of Cannock Chase (not a deer in sight).
With 3,500 bikes congregated at the start of the charity ride and many more arriving directly at RAF Cosford it was quite a sea of bikes to be seen.
We had a wander around and listened to the live music stopping for a well-earned break for a bite to eat along the way.
