Day trip to Scotland

Taking advantage of Stenaline’s motorcycle day trip offers, a group of us met at the filling station at Belfast Dock to catch the 07:30 ferry to Cairnryan. After a smooth sailing we rolled off in Scotland. Travelling along the coastal road through Girvan to Ayr, we headed inland towards New Galloway where we grabbed a coffee. We then made our way to Dumfries for a top-up of fuel. Portpatrick was the next fuel stop this time for a late lunch, followed by a run out to the Mull of Galloway as far as Cairngaan then back towards Cairnryan Port to catch the 19:30 return sailing. A few showers earlier in the day didn’t dampen the spirits as we all agreed it had been a great day’s craic, thanks to Edward Spud Jordan his pillion Lavinia Mc Farland Harry Watters Colin Fogarty Alan Brown and myself Antony Fleming
