Darlington’s Closed Cafe Run (Doh)

It was a good day to be out with the Darlington and district Honda owners club.

There were eight of us on the ride. We did not stick to the planned route because of wet leaves on narrow bendy roads.

We went to Helmsley for a stop to meet up with Clive then on to Crayke but the cafe was closed so we headed for Thirsk for some chips.

After that it was Masham for ice cream or coffee.

Another chat then off home through Layburn, Richmond then down through Barton. We missed all but one tiny shower.

It was warm and sunny some of the time, the roads as always were brilliant and the scenery stunning.

Makes you feel good to be alive riding your bike with good friends.

Cheers

Phil.
