Had a really good ride out today on some fantastic roads.
The pace was quick and the roads dry with a couple of showers thrown in.
Slight change from the plan, up Teesdale with a coffee stop in Middleton in Teesdale.
Through Alston a brief stop at Hartside, Down through Penrith.
Down the A6 then we cut across to Kirkby Stephen for lunch then up through Brough past Selset reservoir then down to Barnard Castle for an ice cream stop, before heading home.
The travellers were gathering in Barnard Castle before heading off to Appleby horse fair.
