Only four of us braved what we thought would be a wet day but it turned out to be warm and sunny all day.
We rode to Fimber café for a coffee stop then on to Scarborough where we had chips at a café on the sea front.
After that Richard wanted to visit Oliver’s mount but once we were on the starting grid he got this sort of gleam in his eye and we ended up thrashing round the racetrack a few times.
We stopped for a coffee at the race track café which looked down in the town, stunning views from there.
After visiting the monument we rode home.
Turned out to be a long but very pleasant day, but all rides with the Darlington Branch are superb.
