It was one of those magical days for the Darlington and district Honda owners club.
The sun was shining and the sky was blue.
There were nine of us on the ride through Scorton. Catterick. Castle Bolton. To Hawes for a brief stop then Ribblehead viaduct and on to settle for lunch in a push bike café.
From there we went to the route 59 café for another coffee stop and a good look round the bikes.
From there we headed up to Grassington then along to Pateley bridge but on the way we got held up in a really long traffic jam caused by a collision between a MG sports car and a BMW motorbike from Germany.
We assume the bike rider came off very badly judging by the state of his bike.
Once we got going again we headed off through Risplith to Thirsk for an ice cream in the market and then headed off home through Northallerton.
158 very happy miles through wonderful countryside with good friends. What more could you ask for !
Cheers
Phil
