Darlington Branch have 2 minutes Silence at Stokesley

We had a good and interesting ride today.

We rode to Stokesley where we stopped at 11am to stand by our bikes for two minutes silence then we headed off in the brilliant sunshine with some unusual fog banks on the hills over the moors.

Commondale, Casselton, Glaisdale, to Grossmont railway station which happened to be closed so we bought our coffees from the shop and sat on the platform to relax.

From there it was over the moors again to NW500 cafe at Pickering for lunch.

From then on fog descended as we rode down Sutton bank to Thirsk for our last coffee stop before heading home through Northallerton.

We all enjoyed the day.

A day out on the bike cures all ailments.

Cheers Phil.
