Darlington and District Rides are always subject to Amendment

Another unexpected day with the Darlington and district Honda owners club.

A lot of our members are away on holiday. One has COVID and others are busy elsewhere.

So there were only three of us who set off to go to the big bike event in Skipton.

We got as far as the A 59 café where we stopped for a coffee and something to eat. Then Jan got a call and had to get back to the hospital in Darlington so we all set off back.

Freddie and I left Jan near the hospital and set off through Staindrop to Barnard castle for a ice cream.

From there we rode over to Richmond where we spent some time down by the river admiring the beautiful scenery and talking about the history of that part of the town.

We then went up to the historic market Square for a while then set off home through Scorton. It turned out to be a decent day in the end.

We enjoyed the ride and the rain that we expected never materialised.

Cheers
