Today’s ride with the Darlington and district Honda owners club was spectacular. One of those days that make you feel good and at peace with the world.
There were seven of us on the ride through Scorton, Richmond, Reeth, Gunnerside and Thwaite, then over the butter tubs pass.
From there we dropped down to Hardraw then cow gill and on to the heritage centre in Laning dent along some fabulous roads.
We had bacon rolls and coffee there and what an interesting place it was. We will definitely go there again.
There was even talk of spending a weekend there in the campsite . When we left there we headed north through Sedbergh. Kirby Stephen and Brough before heading off over the moors to Middleton in Teesdale for our last stop of the day at our favourite café before setting off home through Barnard castle.
A really fabulous day thanks to Richard for leading us.
Cheers
