We had a good day out today with the darlington and district Honda owners club.
It started off a lovely bright dry day.
A bit chilly at 3° but that was ok it warmed up a bit later, We headed up the A68 to Brockbushes farm shop which was packed. We had our two minutes silence of respect there before setting off for Otterburn mill for lunch.
There food is well known and irresistible so we did not try to resist, just ate a lot.
We knew that the weather was going to get bad later so we decided to cut the ride a bit shorter than planned and headed for Allenheads for coffee and cakes.
By the time we left there it was starting to get dark and it was raining.
The last bit over the moors heading for Stanhope it was lashing down and foggy, from there it just got wetter.
But we all got home safe and sound after a good day out in good company .
