The Darlington and district Honda owners club braved the wet weather today.
We rode up to Otterburn mill for a large filling meal which many members will have experienced themselves.
It was dry going up there but as Richard led us on the way back along the more interesting roads we paid the price with a very soggy ride through Hexham and over the moors to Alston.
From there we headed off down Weardale. It was a bit rough down there.
As we passed Killdale I thought my visor was fogged up until I lifted it to find we were riding through thick fog.
We had our last stop of the day at the every day café in Stanhope. Then back on to the A68 and home.
We all agreed that we had enjoyed the day despite the weather which was actually slightly better than we had expected.
Cheers
Phil
