Cassington Bike Night 2026 takes place on Monday 29th June this year and, as well as hoping you’ll attend, we are hoping you might be up for an hour or two (or three!) of marshalling. No real skill is needed and it’s not as scary as it might sound. If you are 18+, have a bit of common sense, an ability to wave your arms, smile and look good in a high-vis top then you have everything we are looking for.
We are also actively seeking some amazing donation seekers to shake a bucket or encourage bikers to tap a card and help support our amazing village charities. Let me (or Lorna Mills) know if that sounds more your thing.
We’ll be looking for marshalls from 3pm through to 9pm at a variety of spots in and around the village. Full instructions and a safety briefing will be provided, and you’ll even get a free burger and drink voucher to use at the school barbecue.
If you are up for it, please just email me your ideal start time and how long you can do. Also let me know if you are involved with a particular area like the school or sports & social or would just like to marshall in a particular spot.
