Today a group of us from the club met up for the 5th Motorcycle Run organised by Co Down Marshalls in aid of Air Ambulance NI including Trucks At The Track at Kirkistown. Gerry Gourley, John Steele, Hayley Gray and myself signed in at Tesco at Castlebawn Newtownards for the 10am departure. The run headed to Banbridge taking in Comber, Ballynahinch, Saintfield and Castlewellan. We had a quick 30 minute turnaround and travelled back to Newtownards via Dromore, Saintfield and Comber, where John’s brother joined us on his 94 Honda VFR. No stopping this time, we took the coast road along Strangford Lough to Kirkistown, where we enjoyed refreshments and the display of trucks at the track.
