REAR BRAKE MAY OVERHEAT WITH A POSSIBILITY OF FIRE
It is possible under certain conditions for the compensator port in the Dual Combined Brake System Secondary Master Cylinder to block. This will allow the rear brake to drag with the attendant increase in temperature which eventually could lead to a fire.
Remedial Action :
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to inspect the free play of the Secondary Master Cylinder using a special tool to ensure there is no blocking of the port, and if necessary replace the Secondary Master Cylinder with a modified part.
