| Description : | Due to improper filter installation in the fuel pump unit rubber cover, the stainless steel filter material may interfere with the aluminium steel fuel tank body through inlet holes in the rubber cover. In turn, natural moisture contamination within the fuel tank body may cause galvanic corrosion. In time, this corrosion may progress to the point where the tank may become perforated and cause fuel leakage. |
| Remedial Action : | Recall affected machines and fit rubber cover to fuel pump to prevent interference between fuel tank body and filter material. Additionally, any fuel tank with evidence of corrosion will be replaced. |
